Welcome to Horse Creek Farms Neighborhood – Chattanooga, TN
Horse Creek Farms (HCF) is a North Chattanooga neighborhood located approximately seven (7) miles from downtown Chattanooga. Our unique style and self-contained neighborhood streets provide a quiet alternative to the hectic city life at our doorstep. Beautiful Signal Mountain, Raccoon Mountain, and Godsey Ridge envelop our community. You will find many residents walking in the morning taking advantage of the lovely views. HCF is within the Nickajack Lake Upper Watershed of the Lower Tennessee River and is regulated by county rules relative to development and storm-water management. There are several common areas and four ponds within the neighborhood which are maintained by the Owners’ Associations (HOA). While not available for recreational use, the ponds are a beautiful component of the neighborhood.
As its name suggests, the Horse Creek Farms community was originally a horse farm. There are three different sub-divisions within the Horse Creek Farms development: Phase I, Phase II, and The Townes. Each has its own homeowners’ association. However, because The Townes is within Phase II, it is subject to the Governing Documents of both Phase II HOA and The Townes HOA.
- Phase I was established in 2001 and includes 73 single-family homes
- Phase II was established in 2006 and includes 178 homes (147 single-family homes and 31 townhomes)
- The Townes was established in 2006 with 31 townhomes. The Townes are part of Phase II
